Para Para Sakura

"Last time you were thinner."

Thats what winter does to you. The inactivity, the lack of exercise, the oily fried food, the cup of milk every night (北海道 no less!) makes me a fat guy.

Unfortunately, i have only gained 500g. Better than nothing.

Genetically made to be thin and nimble, this advantage did not help much when i was traveling 2.2342m/s towards a lamp-post.

Some friend called, i picked up the phone and i missed the bridge's stairs, got too cocky, parried the pole and ended up with a painful experience. ok, i did throw my bike away ala bikey style. (so that we wun crush our legs with the bike like some guy did during my course) hmm..but I still ended up sprawling on all fours, lost my coin pouch and got myself looking goofy.

We were on the way to see SAKURAs. They are in bloom. Well, by the time i wrote this, its been 3 weeks, and the leaves are starting to grow, making the trees somewhat less appealingly greenish. (love my ever worsening english).

Ah...thats me in front of the Solid Square building. I work nearby, and we had just finished our bento lunch at the foot of the Sakura trees. Yes, alot of office workers come down to eat here. Whether its a daily ritual, or because of the sakura remains a mystery.

Sakura petals drifting through the sky. (On the way to picnic)

Thats a view i took while cycling. Hands free. NOT. After kissing Tshush's bike's butt and ending up with yet another minor scratches, i think its more advisable not to do it while next to a canal. Wats more, with all the sakura petals floating around(Look carefully at the picture, though i think the video does more justice), its a pretty nice scene. Enjoying it slowly, with 2 other guy friends..erm..just made my day. Something you dun see regularly.

Yea, we were on the way to a picnic. We got lost because we did not have a good map. The one i had did not have anything but the main roads, so following it is as good as taking a step towards the wrong direction already. After being lost for 1 hour, i went to get a new book. (Why one hour? cuz i thought my kaki have everything under control.) So much better with the details. Not very wise not to bring my compass around...12pm...dun even know where is north.. anyway, it was fun in the sense. Went around watching trees and such.

As usual, sakura viewing is filled with awesome views. Check this out.

Someone brought his pet pig to the garden. Oink. Lots of doggies that day.

The scenery.

And this is how it looks. Really 'nice'. Of course, the other parts of the garden wasn't that populated, especially along the edge of the river.

Sakura upclose and blur. heh. Who's willing to sponsor a DSLR?

And so, 2.35pm on a Tuesday, wondering if my trainer did say 'yes' or 'no' to advance to the next step of my software creation process. Blogを 続ける。(Blog continue)

erm, that day was enjoyable. various games we play. '7-up' and 'big fish small fish' and '007' we have. if you lose, sandwich and potatoe chips you eat. regarding the food, alot available. But, sakura's petals are also mixed. i am bad at big fish small fish. around 10 times i lost. After the picnic, girls dorm we go, to play monopoly. we played monopoly, but one house also never build. bank also no money. 10pm, caretaker called. The guys went back home on their bicycle.

So thats the best japanese i can muster now..haha. i tell you, racing through the garden to find my lost money pouch was damn fun...all the winding routes and the almost even surface...changing gears as i sweep through some people...(dangerous lar..but i do have alot of safety margin =) )
makes me think back of those L-plate biking days...vroom.

"If you pass, you better be really really careful on the road." - Instructor said this after i chalked 25+++ points on one circuit run. (Did not check my blindspot..haha)
